It's been a little while since I manged to blog so I thought I'd throw myself back in with a quick review of Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion +.
My boyfriend was given this sample as he walked through Manchester a few weeks back. I've been using it now for around two weeks. I have tried the original when I was a teenager but it didn't suit my skin, it was too thin and unmoisturising for my dry skin. So I was very interested to try this new and improved version.
I found the lotion + very strange. It has a similar consistency to the original but once on it feels (and looks) very greasy and shiny on the skin. I usually apply foundation once I've moisturised however when I applied it after the lotion it made me look oily. As for moisturising properties I'm really not sure its that good. After the two weeks I started to find sore red patches on my face which I've eased with Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream. It seems the case to me that it acts more like a barrier cream rather than a deeply moisturising cream.
I won't be making a repurchase but am interested to know what other people make of it. Have you tried it? x
